Nancy Ellen Copeland, previously presumed to have died by 1880, has been found! She remarried after her husband Benjamin Franklin Cunnius was killed by Indians. She married a man from Switzerland named Lewis J DuBois. They moved to Henrietta, Texas in 1878. They are listed on the 1880 census there.
